Track Out Camp Counselor (Part-Time, Year-Round)
We are proud to work with some of the highest quality Camp Counselors in the area and are looking to add to our team! We’re hiring applicants who have a demonstrated passion for climbing and genuine desire to work in youth development. Top candidates are those who are good team players, enthusiastic, and engaging. Enjoys working with user groups that include youth, families, first time customers, and beginner climbers. Experience:

Instructors must have a constant awareness for risk management and delivering a phenomenal customer service experience to TRC members and guests through their fitness programming.   • Can lead 2 or more of the following style classes – HIIT, Strength and Conditioning, Core and or Mobility

  • Must be able to teach to all levels and provide movement modifications when needed

First Ascents Coordinator (Part-Time, Hourly, Year-Round)
The First Ascents Coordinator is directly responsible for the execution of TRC’s First Ascents Program. In this part-time position, the First Ascents Coordinator serves the participants and their families as both an administrator and a staff member of the program and works closely with the Programs Manager in order to ensure high program quality. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Administering TRC climbing orientation and rules to new climbers
  • Ensuring a positive experience for all participants
  • Developing relationships with First Ascents families and participants
  • Facilitating both structured and non-structured climbing times
  • Regular meetings with the Programs Manager

  • Administrative duties, such as checking paperwork and collecting payment

  • Facilitating and tracking participants’ progress through the Seven Summits Program

2024 Summer Camp Counselor (Part-Time, May-August)

We’re hiring applicants who have a demonstrated passion for climbing and genuine desire to work in youth development. Top candidates are those who are good team players, enthusiastic, and engaging. Enjoys working with user groups that include youth, families, first time customers, and beginner climbers. Experience:

  • An understanding of gym etiquette, facility rules, and belay safety required; belay certification preferred (but not required!)

Time Commitment:

Team TRC Lead Coach (Part-Time)
We are looking for a Lead Coach for the TRC-RVA competitive climbing program. The Lead Coach will plan training schedules, plan and lead practices, recruit Team TRC climbers, and develop a community for the Team TRC climbers with functions outside of practice (e.g.: potlucks, community service, teambuilding). Requirements & Preferred Experience:
  • Previous youth programming experience
  • Competitive climbing experience
  • Demonstrated passion for climbing
